Donald had a very successful puppy career, becoming a Canadian champion at just under 8 months of age. He won the Basenji Club of Canada's sweepstakes at the 2010 specialty In Sarnia, as well as a hound puppy group at the main Sarnia show. At the Chicagoland Basenji Club specialty he won a large 6-9 puppy dog sweeps class under breeder judge Linda Ehlers, as well as WD/BOS at the all breeds show the day before, followed by G2 in the hound puppy group. Donald has had many wins here in Canada, including a G2 at Fredericton KC all breeds show in New Brunswick (in conjunction with the BCOC National Specialty in 2011) and BOB at the CKC Purina National 2011 and BOS in 2012.

At the BCOA National 2012 in Gettysburg, Donald won the open b/w class (pictured above with his good friend, Steffie Cheng). Shortly afterwards he won his fourth major in New York to become an American champion, following up a day later with BOB and 4 points towards his Grand championship. In 2014 Donald was Select Dog at the Basenji Club of Canada National Specialty, AoM at the Basenji Club of Canada regional specialty and BOS at the Capital Area Sighthound specialty, which was held on the same day. Back across the border, Donald was SD at the Cincinnati Basenji Club Specialty 2015 and BOB at the Cincinnati KC show on Memorial Day. Donald is available at stud to approved, health-tested bitches.
